At Shankari Paithani, we take great pride in offering a variety of exquisite handloom sarees, including Paithani, as well as exceptional customer service. We are committed to safeguarding our customers' interests and ensuring their satisfaction, which is why we have established a straightforward and transparent refund and return policy. Although we hope that our customers won't need to utilize this policy, we recognize that unforeseen circumstances may arise, necessitating a replacement or return of a product. To make this process as easy and streamlined as possible, we have implemented a hassle-free system for returning products.

What are the terms of the Return Policy?

Returns are accepted For

  • Customer Not Satisfied With Quality of the Product
  • Damage During Shipment
  • Manufacturing Defect
  • Products not as per description/photo on the website
  • Products which you received in “Damaged/Defective/Broken” condition

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

  • Paithani accessories, Pure Yeola Paithani, Pure Silk Paithni, Paithani kids wear and Jackets are not eligible for Returns/Exchange unless found damage from weaver side.
  • Color Not Matching To Product Photo On Website. A 5-10% color variation in shade is considered as normal due to digital photography.
  • We weave pure paithani on order, these paithanies are specially customized and made exclusively for you. Any return which comes to us can’t be sold to any other customer that’s why we try our 100% to give you a high-quality product to make you 100% satisfied.
  • Custom stitched/custom designed products are not eligible for return/exchange
  • A Fabric/Saree having tear or stain is considered as damage. Some small tread pop-up or miner discontinuitie is a common part of any fabric, this can't be a reason for return or exchange. 
  • Products sold during clearance sale
  • Design Not Matching Customer Understanding.
  • Product Used, Altered, Tampered And Damaged By Customer.
  • Return request raised after 5 days of delivery may not be entertained by our side
  • Products for which return/exchange requests have been made must be dispatched within 6 days of receiving the product. Products dispatched after 6 days will not be entertained or accepted by us.
  • Any Other Reason Not Mentioned In Policy

since you are a valuable customer for us, we are flexible with our refund and exchange policy.

All products must be returned in their original condition along with the bills and labels and instruction leaflet. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

2. How to Return the Product?

Request Return :

We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return. Disputes registered after 5 days of delivery may not be entertained.

Products for which return/exchange requests have been made must be dispatched within 6 days of receiving the product. Products dispatched after 6 days will not be entertained or accepted by us.

Please follow the below step:

Send email at with your ORDER ID and CONTACT NUMBER and a couple of Pictures of the material within 5 Days of delivery.


Request return via phone call within 5 working days of the received product, call or Whatsapp at 9511834862


Request return through RMA by login user account within 5 working days of the received product. 

If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you  instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

If you have to return anything from a combo pack, the whole pack will have to be returned. There will not be any partial returns accepted for this. If there is a manufacturing issue, or if you have any other query regarding this, You can always contact us for any return question at 

How do I self-ship the products?

  • If a customer wants to return the product, in any case, she/he need to send the product by their courier service to our warehouse, Shankari Paithani will not bear the courier charges. We strive to provide you with the best quality product at very affordable rates, we can not bear the return courier charges on our highly discounted products!
  • Please pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. All items must be in unused condition with all original tags attached and packaging intact.

  • Mention customer name on return package.
  • Once you dispatch the product, please share it's tracking Receipt & Product Package Picture via emai or whatsapp on 9511834862
  • On receiving the product at the warehouse, we will review the returned product within 3 days of return, If the customer’s return claim found to be correct Shankari Paithani will refund the entire amount via the same payment method in the customer’s bank account. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
  • If the customer’s return claim found to be incorrect and the merchandise returned as defective proves to not be defective, we will contact the customer to either send the unit back to the customer or restock the item.
  • The amount can be refunded only when we receive the product back at our warehouse.

PLEASE NOTE: We request you to use Professional Couriers for self-return as they are very reliable and the package will securely reach our warehouse. We also recommend using Speed Post, It is a Government of India owned entity and has the most widely distributed postal network in India.

Cancellations - If the order is canceled before shipping, the refund will be done to your bank account and will reflect within 7-10 business days. If a cancellation is required after the product is shipped, we will provide a bank refund upon request, after the package reaches back to us.

Late Deliveries:

Please Keep Sufficient Buffer to avoid delayed deliveries.

We offer Shipment via local logistics partner and try to deliver within 1 weeks but we can’t make any guarantees. This may be due to reasons relating to Covid 19, product stock and delivery times. If your order doesn’t arrive in time for a birthday, wedding anniversary or the farewell party of your colleague, this does unfortunately not constitute a reason for a return. If you need something super-fast, request for the Air Delivery (at an additional cost) if available at your location to get your order as fast as possible.
